Hebrew is a Northwest Semitic language majorly spoken by  Israelites. It has about nine million users worldwide. Modern Hebrew is one of the official language used in Israel. It is the original Jewish language. most of the Jewish prayers are composed in Hebrew.

As the festival is known by many names we can wish it in many ways. Here I am writing some of the wishes in both English and Hebrew language.

For example, to wish someone a Happy Hanukkah, just say “Hanukkah Sameach!” or simply “Chag Sameach!” (Happy Holiday).

How to pronounce

We learned how to say happy Hanukkah in Hebrew, but, It is quite difficult to pronounce for any non-herbew or English speakers. The phrase “Hanukkah Sameach!” should be pronounced like this:

'Hawn-oo-kuh sum-ay-uh'

How to pronounce 'Chag Hanukkah Sameach'? pronounce it as given below:
